About Nami Lift

Our history

Nami Lift with offices and production facilities in Tollarp, Sweden has made a name for itself across Western Europe as a supplier of quality lifts. We develop and manufacture platform lifts for indoor and outdoor use; low-speed lifts that are also suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The products are developed with high quality standards, safe designs and are easily installed thanks to advanced pre-assembly. Our advanced pre-assembly allows for easy final assembly. The models in our range fit in all environments, even those with tight spaces, and can be adapted to different needs and preferences. With smart features, attractive design and a quiet, smooth ride, our lifts are well-known and popular in the market.

Nami is founded by Nils P Jönsson.
The business then consisted of the manufacture of tractor wagons.

In the mid-70s, Nami begins subcontracting the manufacture of hydraulic platform lifts for Carl Ljungberg.

During this time, the rules for platform lifts change and new models are developed.
